Content Policy

1. What Evili is for

Evili takes a photo you provide and a template you pick, and generates a video or an image: a yearbook portrait, a stylised wallpaper, a scene. It is a general-audience creative tool for people aged 18 and over. It is not an adult service, and it is not a tool for making convincing footage of things that did not happen.

2. What is not allowed

You may not use Evili to generate, upload or share:

• Anything involving a minor sexually — whether real, fictional, illustrated or AI-generated. Zero tolerance; see section 4.
• Sexually explicit or pornographic material, or content sexualising a real person.
• A real person without their consent — see section 3, which is the rule that matters most here.
• Harassment — content made to threaten, bully, defame, humiliate or impersonate somebody, or to expose their private information.
• Deceptive synthetic media — a generation presented as a real recording, or one that misleads about what a real, identifiable person said or did. This includes public figures, politicians and elections.
• Serious crime — content that facilitates or instructs terrorism, human trafficking, weapons or drug offences, fraud or child endangerment.
• Extreme violence or gore intended to shock, or content glorifying violence.
• Self-harm and suicide — content that promotes, encourages or instructs it.
• Hate — content inciting hatred or violence against a protected group.
• Someone else’s copyright or trade mark, used without the right to.
• Anything unlawful where you are, or prohibited by our payment or app-store partners.

3. Real people, and consent

This product puts a real face into a generated scene. That is the whole point of it, and it is also the one way it can genuinely hurt somebody who never used it. So there is one rule with no exceptions:

Do not upload a photo of somebody who has not agreed to be in it. Not a colleague, not an ex-partner, not a classmate, not someone from a social-media profile, not a celebrity. If the photo is of you, or of someone who said yes, you are fine. If you are not sure whether they would say yes, the answer is no.

Consent is also not transferable and not permanent. It covers the generation you were given permission for. If the person asks you to take something down, take it down — and if they write to us instead, we will remove it.

If you appear in something you did not agree to, write to support@evili.ai. You do not need an account and you do not need to prove wrongdoing; tell us where it is and we will look at it. Where a generation appears to harm a real, identifiable person, we act first and ask afterwards.

4. Child safety — zero tolerance

We enforce a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation. The prohibition applies to all content, whether real, fictional, illustrated or AI-generated, and to any attempt to produce it. It applies equally to uploading a photograph of a child into a template that alters or sexualises a person.

We use model-level safety controls, automated filtering of prompts and images, and human review of reports. We preserve relevant data and report apparent child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities as required by law, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we cooperate with law enforcement. Accounts involved are terminated immediately and without refund.

You must be at least 18 to use Evili. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we remove it. A parent or guardian who believes a minor has used the service can write to support@evili.ai.

5. Everything here is synthetic

Every output is generated by an AI model. It is not a photograph of an event and it is not a recording. Be honest about that when you share it — especially where somebody could reasonably mistake it for real, and especially when a real person appears in it. Presenting a generation as genuine footage breaches section 2 whatever the subject.

6. How moderation works

A prompt you type is screened automatically before it reaches a model, and the models themselves refuse categories of request at their own level. Screening is deliberately cautious, so a refusal is not an accusation — ordinary requests are sometimes caught, and you can rephrase and try again. Generation is automated and we do not review what you make before it is made; we review what is reported.

Automated moderation is imperfect in both directions. It will block things it should not and miss things it should catch, which is why reports (section 8) matter and why appeals (section 7) exist.

7. Enforcement, and what happens to your money

Depending on what happened, we may:

• refuse the generation — the coins are returned automatically;
• remove the output and warn you;
• restrict features or suspend the account while we look into it;
• terminate the account permanently.

Where we suspend an account and then find nothing wrong, we restore it and extend any paid term by the time you lost — that is the remedy, because purchases are final and Terms section 9 does not refund them. Where an account is terminated for a serious breach — child safety, a non-consensual real person, deliberate deception — unused coins and the current term are forfeit. We say this plainly because a suspension that quietly swallows a paid term is worse for both of us than one that is explained.

8. Reporting something

Write to support@evili.ai with a link or a description and what is wrong with it. Anyone can report, account or not. We look at every report about a real person or a child immediately; other reports are answered within one business day.

9. Appeals

If your content was removed or your account was restricted and you believe that was a mistake, reply to the e-mail we sent you, or write to support@evili.ai with the account address. A person reviews it — not the same system that made the original call. Tell us what you think happened; a wrong automated block is a bug we want to know about.
